Wayanad District, in the north-east of Kerala , India , was formed on November 1 , 1980 as the 12th district, carved out of Kozhikode and Kannur districts.The name Wayanad derived from ‘Wayalnadu’ means land of paddy fields. The picturesque plateau, having the largest concentration of tribal population in the state, was once known as Africa in Kerala. Kalpetta, the only municipal town in the district, is district headquarters.It is famous for its lush forests, splashing waterfalls, tea and coffee plantations. The whole district has a number of resorts and hotels that cater to the tourists who flock here to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Places of interest are, Pookode Lake, Soochipara Waterfalls, and Kuruva Islands. The nearest airport is Karipur International airport at Kozhikode, which is 100 km away; the nearest railhead is Kozhikode and an excellent road network connects it to the other cities.

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of wayayand ..visit Kuruva island, Tholpetty wild life sanctuary , pakshipathalam lakkitdi view point . Overnight at wayanad.
After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing Tour of Wayanad – visit The Edakkal Caves ,Muthanga wild life sanctuary.Overnight stay at the resort in Wayanad .
After breakfast check out from Hotel Proceed toVisit Chembra peak , Soochippara waterfalls, Pokkoot lake ,Meenmutty falls. Banasura dam Later drop at calicut. End of Trip
